Ti Amo has entertained Thunder Bay audiences for 32 years. The band provides a variety of music that appeal to all ages. Their style includes traditional ballroom, Italian/ethnic, classic rock, country and contemporary pop. Ti Amo’s selection is tailored to people who like to dance although many simply enjoy listening to the music. Joe and Laura Daniele are the original members. In 1986, after they began dating, Joe formed Ti Amo and Laura agreed to sing. Their popularity grew due to the band’s versatility and ability to provide Italian ethnic music. Ti Amo has played mainly in Thunder Bay at private functions, corporate events, festivals, banquets and weddings as well as outdoor concerts like Summer in the Parks, Thunderfest and Festa Italiana. Joe is the lead guitarist, producer and leader of Ti Amo.
Laura’s vocals have a rich and full sound and she can adapt her voice to suit the style of any song. Joe and Laura Daniele have been playing music professionally for over 30 years. Music brought the couple together and they continue to enjoy performing with Ti Amo. Accompanying Joe and Laura in Ti Amo are Dan Zadkovich – Bass, Domenic Sacchetti – Keyboards and Jeff Korkola – Drums,
Dan is highly active in the local music scene playing in jazz, rock, country and blues bands throughout the city. He began playing drums professionally at the age of twelve and went on to master many instruments. He received his HBMUS degree majoring in classical guitar and shortly after launched the Lakehead School of music. He has been involved in several musical shows at Magnus Theatre and can be easily found playing upright bass in various jazz ensembles.
Domenic started playing the accordion at the age of 6 years and has since transitioned to keyboards and guitar. He played with The Reflections as a youngster and then with Ti Amo for 7 years. After a short break, Dom re-entered the music scene playing with The Trillers and now he is back with Ti Amo.
